RBT Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist G & A Behavior Therapy, LLC Lauderhill, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $22 - $25 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications RBT Certification Teamwork Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Post-session clinical documentation Assisting with ADLs ABA session notes Direct support In-home experience Clinical documentation standards Behavior intervention plans (BIP) implementation Safety protocol implementation Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA services to a child diagnosed with severe autism who requires significant behavioral and adaptive support. The RBT will implement an individualized behavior intervention plan under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and assist the client in developing communication, social, safety, and daily living skills. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs as written and supervised by the BCBA/BCaBA. Work safely and professionally with challenging behaviors and significant support needs. Collect accurate, objective data on maladaptive behaviors, replacement skills, and client progress. Implement antecedent strategies, prompting procedures, functional communication training, and reinforcement-based interventions. Support communication, social interaction, transitions, task participation, safety, and adaptive skills. Assist with activities of daily living when required, including feeding, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Follow crisis-prevention and safety procedures established in the client's treatment plan. Complete clinical documentation accurately and within the required timeframes. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, BACB, Medicaid, and agency requirements. Participate in supervision, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing training. Required Qualifications Active RBT certification through the BACB. Previous direct experience working with children diagnosed with severe autism and high support needs. Experience implementing behavior plans for challenging or potentially unsafe behaviors. Current background screening and all credentials required to provide ABA services. Ability to follow clinical protocols consistently and accept supervisory feedback. Strong communication, documentation, and data-collection skills. Reliable transportation, punctuality, professionalism, patience, and compassion. Ability to remain calm and follow established safety procedures during behavioral episodes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with functional communication training, prompting and prompt fading, reinforcement systems, and activities of daily living. Experience providing ABA services in home, school, daycare, or community settings. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
