Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks. Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate effectively with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in therapy delivery and client support. Adhere to all ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Hands-on experience implementing ABA therapy protocols in home-based or school settings. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and behavioral health practices. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain detailed documentation. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in educational or clinical environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and client communication strategies to foster positive engagement. A background in special education or related fields enhances your ability to support diverse client needs effectively.
