Job Description

Heartlinks ABA GA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide part-time, after-school ABA therapy Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30 pm. In this mission-driven role, you will deliver 1:1 evidence-based behavioral support to children with autism and developmental disabilities in clinic, home, school, or community settings. You will implement Behavior Intervention Plans designed by a BCBA, collect data, document sessions, and collaborate closely with a supportive clinical team dedicated to high-quality care, family impact, and your ongoing training and professional growth. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, school, or community settings Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30 pm Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by a BCBACollect accurate, real-time data on behaviors and skill progress using designated systems Maintain clear, timely session notes and documentation in line with clinical and compliance standards Use reinforcement and prompting strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills Follow safety procedures and assist with de-escalation under BCBA guidance when challenging behavior occurs Communicate professionally with supervisors and families regarding session activities and progress Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and performance feedback to build ABA skills Collaborate with a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team focused on quality client outcomes Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Behavior intervention implementation Data collection and clinical documentation Following Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Using reinforcement strategies Session note writing in EMR or similar systems Collaborating with BCBAs and clinical teams Basic crisis de-escalation techniques Professional communication with families
