Hourly Pay:
$19 to $23 per hour, based on RBT experience, credentials, and relevant education
Sign-On Bonus:
$500 for candidates who join with an active RBT credential, payable after 90 days of continuous employment

Career Path:
Opportunities to progress toward Lead RBT, and BCaBA roles. The Opportunity As an RBT, you will bring individualized treatment plans to life through direct, one-on-one support. You will help children build communication, social, daily-living, play, learning, and independence skills while working closely with your supervising BCBA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values meaningful relationships, welcomes coaching, and wants to build a career in behavioral health, psychology, education, or ABA. What You Will Do
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
Implement individualized treatment and behavior-support plans using approved ABA strategies with consistency, care, and respect.
Collect accurate session data and communicate meaningful observations to the supervising BCBA.
Help children build communication, social, daily-living, play, learning, and independence skills.
Support children through challenging moments while maintaining dignity, safety, and professionalism.
Participate actively in supervision, coaching, competency development, and team training.
Complete timely session documentation and follow clinical, ethical, privacy, and safety requirements. What We Are Looking For
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, behavioral health, or a related field is a plus.
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong reliability, communication, patience, professionalism, and willingness to receive coaching.
Commitment to treating every child and family with dignity, empathy, and respect.
Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with providing direct care to children.
Ability to complete required background screening and employment requirements.
Not Yet an RBT? We are also interested in strong candidates who have the right mindset and relevant experience but have not yet completed RBT certification. For selected candidates, Cherished Stars may provide paid training and support toward completing RBT training, competency assessment, examination, and certification requirements.
