In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based behavioral therapy to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders within a school setting. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in students' social, communication, and daily living skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support student progress. Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support classroom teachers and staff by integrating ABA strategies into daily educational activities. Engage in direct behavioral therapy, utilizing reinforcement techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Communicate regularly with clients' families, teachers, and team members to ensure consistency and transparency in care plans. Requirements Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention protocols effectively. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Experience working in school environments or home-based behavioral settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Pay:
