Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where your passion for helping others and your expertise in behavioral health will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will deliver evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, support clients in achieving their goals, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while providing compassionate, patient-centered care in home-based and community settings. The Registered Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA. Key Responsibilities Direct Therapy Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Follow treatment plans created by the BCBA Work directly with clients during therapy sessions Data Collection Collect accurate data during sessions Record behavior frequencies, durations, and progress Submit session documentation in a timely manner Behavior Intervention Implement behavior intervention strategies Support clients in replacing challenging behaviors with functional skills Client Skill Development Teach communication, social, and daily living skills Support learning through structured ABA techniques Assist with group activities when applicable Professional Responsibilities Maintain client confidentiality Follow ethical and professional standards Participate in supervision and training sessions Skills and Qualities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude High level of professionalism and ethical conduct Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to different client needs and environments Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and implement programs with fidelity Required Experience and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing Minimum of 6 months of experience implementing ABA-based treatment plans (preferred) Successful completion of a background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required for home/community-based services) Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and engage in physically demanding activities, as needed, with clients (e.g., chasing, blocking)
Pay:
