Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by implementing evidence-based interventions, supporting skill development, and promoting positive behavior change. You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth and independence in a compassionate and professional environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with special education practices. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding progress, challenges, and behavioral management strategies. Participate in ongoing training on ethical standards, professional conduct, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. RBT certification required. Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts, behavior management techniques, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Ability to collect and analyze behavioral data accurately for progress tracking. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Demonstrated patience and compassion when working with diverse populations in home-based or school settings. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with care plans, behavior support strategies, and implementing structured interventions tailored to individual needs. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
