Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based support! In this role, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with developmental and behavioral challenges, helping them develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Use positive reinforcement strategies to motivate clients and encourage desirable behaviors Support clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills through engaging activities Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in treatment approaches and share insights on client progress Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and growth Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay current on best practices and certification requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients of all ages Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavior plans precisely Energetic, patient, and motivated to make a positive impact in clients' lives Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus but not required; comprehensive training will be provided Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during therapy sessions Must pass background checks and meet all state licensing or certification requirements for behavior intervention roles Join us in creating a brighter future for those we serve! Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
