Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders through targeted teaching strategies and behavior management techniques Document medical records, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide updates on client progress and collaborate on care strategies Maintain a safe, supportive environment by adhering to professional and ethical standards outlined in the Behavior Analysts Certification Board's (BACB) code of ethics Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in settings such as schools, clinics, or home-based programs is highly preferred Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols is essential Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or other neurodevelopmental conditions enhances your ability to deliver effective care Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and medical records management is advantageous Previous roles involving direct behavioral therapy or behavioral health support demonstrate your capacity for client-centered care Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with children with disabilities will help you excel in this role A commitment to professional development aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts ensures ethical practice at all times Join us to empower individuals through compassionate behavioral health services!
