• : Voluntary Retirement 403(b) Life Insurance Health Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Pet Insurance Mileage Reimbursement The primary function of the Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA)/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of individuals participating in the day habilitation program. The Behavior Analyst also consults with and teaches staff members regarding Positive Behavior Supports, De-escalation techniques; develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team members, related services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate. The Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LABA) reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services.

General Qualifications:

Licensed through the Massachusetts Allied Health and Human Services or another state licensing board and advanced degree required. At least two years experience working with individuals with ASD and their families. A safe driving record, current driver's license and current motor vehicle liability insurance. Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with individuals, parents/caregivers, and other professionals Competence in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment plans and behavioral programs, and monitoring progress Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications, and travel independently in rural/remote locations.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day aspects of The Arc's clinical services for the day habilitation program. Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs and behavior plans. Ensure the implementation of treatment plans, document contacts and observations; use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements. Establish and maintain data measurement, collection, and analysis systems for individuals receiving behavioral interventions. Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare and complete reports as required. Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with DDS regulations and meet or exceed professional standards. Provide staff development, training, and modeling for direct service providers in strategies and methodologies for working with individuals with ASD and other clinical diagnoses, including Positive Behavior Supports. Participate in DHSP meetings for individuals as appropriate. Promote positive public relations, facilitate interagency collaboration, and advocate for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services. Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, team meetings and program visitations. Accept all other responsibilities as assigned.
