Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral challenges, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their goals through effective behavior management strategies. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct support to clients, focusing on behavior management and skill development. Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of client progress, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Collect research data to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments. Utilize medical terminology appropriately in documentation and communication. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in patient care and behavioral therapy. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to document medical information accurately and efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. A passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Previous experience in research data collection is a plus but not required.
