In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children, and a passion for improving the lives of those with special needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on individualized care plans. Collect and analyze data related to client progress and behavior management strategies. Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through teaching techniques. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor client behavior and provide positive reinforcement to promote desired behaviors. Educate families and caregivers on behavior management strategies and progress updates. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and behavior management procedures. Requirements Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education preferred. Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of medical records, care plans, and HIPAA compliance. Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient care in a compassionate manner. Excellent teaching skills with a focus on positive reinforcement techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals with behavioral health challenges and behavior management needs. Compassion, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment. This role is vital for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through tailored behavioral interventions that foster growth and independence while providing critical support to families and caregivers.
