Make an immediate impact supporting elementary students as a compassionate behavioral professional. This contract position offers both full-time (31 hours/week) and part-time (19 hours/week) opportunities, with the workday running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Youll collaborate within a dedicated school community through June 17, 2027, playing a crucial role in fostering positive student outcomes. In this role, you will provide tailored support alongside a team of educators, and your efforts will reach students in both inclusion settings and specialized environments. Youll have the chance to work one-on-one, lead small groups, and offer classroom-based behavioral interventions for children with emotional impairments and/or autism who require assistance due to behavioral challenges.
Key Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license (required only for RBT roles)
Paraprofessionals:
high school diploma required Relevant experience with behavioral support or training in school-based environments Successful completion of CORI and fingerprinting prior to start Safety care training required; RBT training highly valued Ability to provide support without BCBA supervision (please disclose any supervision needs) Strong communication and collaboration skills
