Job Description

Spectrum Autism Center is seeking fun and energetic individuals to provide evidence-based support therapy to children with autism spectrum and related disorders.
Please note:
We are looking to fill a summer-time position at this time.
What we offer:
A rewarding experience in helping children and families reach their full potential Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Development in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis including supervision hours for those individuals pursuing a BCBA Certification Paid Holidays including a week between Christmas and New Years PTO Accrual Responsibilities Structured one-on-one instruction with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) primarily at our clinic but occasionally in their home, school and/or community settings Create a fun and supportive learning environment for children with special needs Implement educational programs and behavior interventions as designed by a Behavior Analyst Supervisor Promote the development of functional communication skills (i.e. speaking and using assistive communication devices) Provide instruction on social skills (i.e. social interactions, play behavior, and conversational skills) Support independence with adaptive living skills (daily routines) Collect clinical data and track progress Participate in team meetings with a BCBA, parents and other team members Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Strong desire to work with children with special needs, preferably autism Technology proficient in Apple and/or Android devices Ability to lift 50lbs or more Applicants must possess our
