Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the life of a student by providing dedicated 1:1 behavioral support in a dynamic school environment. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be working on a contract basis from now through June 10, 2027, offering your expertise during the academic year. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 37.5 hours per week. This role is uniquely focused on supporting a single student who exhibits significant behavioral needs, including occasional aggressive behaviors. You will play an integral part in developing and implementing effective behavior management strategies, supporting both learning and personal growth for your student.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Prior experience providing intensive behavioral support to students with challenging behaviors in a school setting Confidence and expertise in implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans Patience, resilience, and strong crisis management skills The ability to build rapport while setting clear boundaries and expectations Knowledge of data collection and progress monitoring procedures Professionalism and emotional maturity in demanding situations In this vital role, you will: Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and supports throughout the school day Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and supervisory BCBA to ensure the student's behavioral and educational needs are met Monitor and record data on student progress and behavioral incidents Communicate regularly with educational teams regarding student status and strategy effectiveness Support the student in achieving social, emotional, and academic goals safely and effectively If you are a passionate RBT ready to support a student requiring a high level of behavioral assistance, apply now to become a trusted advocate for change.
