Job Description

Heartlinks ABA NC seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, and community settings. In this role, you'll implement BCBA-designed behavior and skill acquisition plans, collect accurate data, and support communication, social, and daily living skills. You'll collaborate closely with families and a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven, family-centered culture that emphasizes evidence-based practice, ongoing training, supervision, and clear growth pathways for dedicated clinicians. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or community settings. Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans designed by a BCBA. Collect accurate, real-time data on behaviors and skill progress using paper or digital tools. Follow safety, de-escalation, and behavior management protocols to support clients. Write timely, objective session notes and communicate progress to supervisors. Collaborate and communicate regularly with BCBAs, families, and team members. Participate in initial and ongoing training, supervision, and performance feedback sessions. Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards. Support functional communication, social skills, and daily living skill development. Travel locally between client locations as assigned.
