Medford, New Jersey Position Summary Great Minds ABA Therapy LLC is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide school-based behavioral consultation and clinical supervision services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The BCBA will work collaboratively with students' educational teams to support the implementation of individualized education programs ( IEPs ), develop and monitor behavior intervention plans, provide evidence-based behavioral recommendations, and ensure that ABA services are effectively integrated within the school environment. This position will also include clinical supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) providing direct ABA services in school settings. The BCBA will support RBT performance, provide ongoing feedback and training, monitor treatment fidelity, and ensure services are delivered in accordance with the student's treatment plan and applicable professional standards. Essential ResponsibilitiesSchool-Based Consultation & IEP Collaboration Provide behavioral consultation to students with ASD and related developmental disabilities within school environments. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, administrators, parents/guardians, and other members of the student's educational team. Review and contribute behavioral recommendations related to students' IEPs, behavior plans, classroom accommodations, and educational goals . Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, parent meetings, and other school-based planning meetings as appropriate. Assist educational teams in identifying barriers to learning and developing effective behavioral supports. Conduct and/or review functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments when clinically appropriate. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and other evidence-based behavioral interventions. Provide recommendations regarding antecedent strategies, reinforcement systems, prompting, skill acquisition, replacement behaviors, and environmental modifications. Support the development of functional communication, social, adaptive, self-management, and academic readiness skills. Assist school personnel with strategies for addressing challenging behaviors, including aggression, elopement, tantrums, noncompliance, property destruction, and other behaviors that interfere with learning. Observe students across relevant school environments, including classrooms, lunch/recess, transitions, specials, and other settings as appropriate. Analyze behavioral and skill-acquisition data and make data-driven treatment recommendations. Communicate clinical recommendations clearly and professionally to school personnel and families. RBT Supervision & Clinical Oversight Provide ongoing clinical supervision to RBTs delivering direct ABA services in school settings. Conduct required supervision activities in accordance with BACB supervision requirements and applicable company policies . Observe RBTs implementing treatment plans and provide timely, constructive feedback. Monitor RBT implementation of behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs. Provide training and competency-based instruction to RBTs as needed. Support RBTs with clinical problem-solving and challenging behavioral situations. Monitor treatment integrity and ensure interventions are implemented consistently and accurately. Review data collected by RBTs and provide feedback regarding data collection and clinical decision-making. Assist RBTs in maintaining professional boundaries and effective collaboration with school personnel. Complete required supervision documentation and clinical records accurately and timely. Communicate with the supervising clinical team regarding student progress, treatment barriers, and recommendations for program modification. Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Complete progress notes, supervision documentation, treatment updates, and other required records. Monitor student progress toward treatment and behavioral goals. Modify treatment procedures based on ongoing data analysis and clinical necessity. Participate in case review and clinical team meetings. Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards, company policies, school policies, and applicable state and federal requirements. Protect student confidentiality and maintain professional conduct at all times. Establish positive and collaborative relationships with school personnel and families. Represent Great Minds ABA Therapy LLC professionally within school settings.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field. Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience providing ABA services to children with ASD and/or developmental disabilities. Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs. Strong understanding of functional behavior assessment, applied behavior analysis, and data-driven treatment. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary educational teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with the clinical team.
Preferred:
Experience providing ABA services within public or private school settings. Experience participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with special education teams. Experience supervising RBTs. Familiarity with New Jersey special education practices and school-based service delivery. Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs in educational environments.
