Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students and educators in a dynamic school environment near Paterson, NJ. This contract role is available immediately and extends through December 23rd, covering a maternity leave. You'll play a vital role working 1:1 with students, collaborating directly with classroom teachers, and providing impactful behavioral strategies.
Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification required Recent experience in a school or educational setting preferred Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention plans Ability to train and support teachers and aides Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral support and assessment for individual students Guide teachers in implementing evidence-based strategies for classroom success Provide direct and ongoing training to aides and teachers supporting students throughout the district Develop, track, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress This role is ideally suited for those passionate about helping students thrive and for professionals seeking a collaborative setting where their expertise makes a daily difference.
