Job Description

Nevada Behavior & Autism is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team, providing one-on-one, in-home, clinic and school-based behavioral intervention to children and adults with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individual treatment plans, teach communication and social skills, and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Responsibilities:
Direct Care:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) and skill acquisition programs (e.g., toilet training, communication, social skills) with high fidelity.
Data Collection:
Collect accurate, daily data on client progress and behaviors using digital data collection software.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure a safe, clean environment; adhere to HIPAA regulations and the BACB Ethical Code.
Documentation:
Write objective, timely session notes and track progress toward treatment goals.
Collaboration:
Participate in team meetings, accept feedback from supervisors (BCBAs), and assist with parent training.
Material Preparation:
Prepare therapy materials and programs as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Active RBT Certification or willing to become licensed as an RBT (Support and training provided). High School Diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes. Ability to pass a background check. Proven ability to work with children or individuals with special needs. Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Benefits Hours are very flexible and can be done during the day and/or evening or weekends depending on parent's needs. Supervision provided for RBT certification maintenance. Health insurance will be available after time. $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
