Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert behavioral therapy services, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves working closely with children and adults to improve their quality of life through evidence-based interventions, data collection, and ongoing progress monitoring. The BCBA will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with industry standards. Duties Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles tailored to each client's needs. Conduct behavioral assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and functional analyses to inform treatment strategies. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across environments. Maintain detailed medical records, documentation of patient care activities, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies and support implementation of treatment plans. Ensure all services adhere to ethical standards and best practices in special education and behavioral health. Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and supervision activities as required for certification maintenance. Experience Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). New York State
LBA - REQUIRED
Prior experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, especially those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Demonstrated expertise in behavioral therapy , applied behavior analysis (ABA) , data collection , and patient assessment . Knowledge of medical terminology , medical documentation , HIPAA compliance , and medical records management . Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations within behavioral health or special education settings. Familiarity with special education practices, behavioral health interventions, and working with individuals with disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$95.00 - $105.00 per hour
