Job Description

Designated as a Center of Excellence in New York State, we have become a magnet organization where individuals from around the region and world travel to receive highly advanced care and access to groundbreaking research for a myriad of complex conditions. We offer residential, medical, clinical, and special education programs to over 1,200 children, adults, and families annually. The Behavior Specialist/Analyst provides behavior intervention services for identified individuals using principles of applied behavior analysis and other evidence-based strategies. Primary duties include conducting behavioral assessments (functional behavior assessments and analysis), providing hands-on intensive skills training, and staff consultation and training. Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in large teams. Must be flexible and organized. This is a 12-month position with flexible schedule that may require some weekend and evening hours. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, or other related field Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Preferred Experience working with school-aged children/adolescents (ages 5-21) with autism required. Experience in behavior analysis is preferred 12-month position, 5-8 hour days
