Duties Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans based on comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Utilize positive behavior support strategies to promote adaptive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect, analyze, and document data related to behavioral interventions, progress notes, and patient assessments in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including clinicians, educators, and families—to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across settings. Conduct intake interviews and behavioral health evaluations to determine needs and tailor intervention strategies accordingly. Provide training to direct care staff and support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities during day habilitation sessions or daily activities. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports while adhering to confidentiality standards and WV IDD guidelines. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to implementing behavioral interventions in diverse settings.

What you will need:

• A bachelor's degree is required from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, counseling, special education or a closely related field of study.

Preferred:

A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

• Social Work License or eligibility preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients and families.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
• Criminal Background Check.
