Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are looking to be part of something more than traditional service delivery. At EICS, RBTs play a key role in an integrated model combining behavioral support and mental health interventions, working alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and interdisciplinary team to support individuals with IDD in achieving meaningful outcomes. Advanced Training & Innovative Practice Opportunities All EICS behavior support programs are CARF-accredited (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), reflecting our commitment to quality, person-centered care and measurable outcomes. As an RBT at EICS, you will be part of an innovative, integrated care model that supports individuals across a continuum—from foundational skill-building to more intensive supports through our EMPOWER Program. This role also provides opportunities to learn and contribute to program development and innovative practices through: Partnership with the University of Missouri-Kansas City LifeCourse Nexus Team Ongoing consultation and collaboration with Case Western Reserve University and the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Through this work, RBTs gain experience beyond traditional service delivery and contribute to forward-thinking approaches that are shaping the future of integrated IDD and mental health services. What You'll Do As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide home and community-based services to transitional-age youth and adults with IDD. Services are delivered across a variety of settings, including homes, group homes, day programs, and community/work environments , supporting individuals in real-life settings where skills are applied.
You will:
Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of a BCBA Provide 1:1 direct services focused on skill development and behavioral support Collaborate with guardians, families, and residential providers to ensure consistency in care Collect and document behavioral and skill acquisition data using ABA-based systems Support caregiver and group home staff training on behavior strategies and client goals Assist in safety planning and report critical incidents in accordance with agency policy Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultations Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid and regulatory standards Meet productivity expectations (including direct and indirect service time) Maintain RBT certification and adhere to BACB ethical guidelines Support a positive, collaborative team culture Why Join EICS?
