Job Description

Join our small family focused team as an In-Home Behavioral Specialist. Our staff carry small caseloads so there is time to focus on the needs of the client and family. While the identified client is under 18, the objective is to address their behavioral need by educating the family on intervention strategies, creating behavior plans, modifying familial structure and building a positive behavioral environment. Some work may occur in schools to transfer skills, but the objective is ensuring the home environment is benefitting.
Applicant must be familiar with:
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Anxiety, ADHD, Disruptive behavior. Duties Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments upon intake. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive client assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Collect, analyze, and document data on client progress accurately to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support clients with behavioral disorders by providing consistent behavior intervention strategies within their home environment. Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to update progress, provide training, and promote consistency across settings. Complete daily documentation and quarterly summary reviews Travel to homes and schools to perform duties in Cumberland and/or Perry County, evening hours required. Qualifications Minimum education at bachelors level, further education preferred. 5 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong data collection skills to track client progress meticulously and adjust interventions as needed. Background in special education or related fields is preferred; certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family training, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to work independently in clients' homes while maintaining professionalism and safety standards. BONUS; This job allows you to build and create your own work schedule throughout the week and weekend. Maintain a small caseload to ensure quality of service, Paid mileage reimbursement.
Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
