Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality 1:1 therapeutic and behavioral interventions to children based on their specific Treatment Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), or Individual Education Plans (IEP). Working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. This position is vital to supporting students in their schools, homes, or other educational environments to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Implementation:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral programming and educational goals as outlined in the student's individualized plan.
Data Collection:
Accurately collect and record data on all programming; maintain detailed and objective progress notes.
Reporting & Compliance:
Complete all clinical documentation and progress notes in a timely manner via our agency's reporting system.
Collaboration:
Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA; participate in quarterly progress monitoring and staff meetings.
Safety & Ethics:
Maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA) and adhere to all agency policies, professional standards, and ethical codes.
Professional Development:
Complete 20 hours of annual staff development and maintain active RBT certification/BCBA supervision requirements. [1]
Qualifications Education:
Associate's degree or higher (or at least two years of postsecondary study).
Certification:
Active RBT certification preferred; candidates willing to obtain certification with agency guidance will be considered.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or classroom environments preferred.
Clearances:
Must provide current (within 6 months) Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse Clearances.
Health & Safety:
Current TB test results (within last 3 months) and active CPR/First Aid certification.
Insurance:
Ability to maintain professional liability insurance coverage.
Transportation:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between service sites. Professional Requirements Demonstrated sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Strong adherence to agency philosophy, attendance policies, and professional grooming standards. Ability to immediately report student incidents, variances, or complaints to supervisors.
Caseload Expectations:
Target of 32 billable hours per week (approx 128 hours monthly), subject to client attendance and available assignments. Salary & Benefits As a valued W2 salaried team member, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being:

Semi-monthly payroll with the organization covering the employer portion of payroll taxes (8-10%).
Paid Travel:
Travel time between client locations is compensated at your regular hourly rate.
