Job Description

Make an impact by supporting students who need it most as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment near Wilkes Barre, PA. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, running August to June, and offers a chance to work closely with students across Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. As a floating RBT, youll play a vital role assisting students with behavioral needs, with a primary focus on those requiring Autism and Emotional Support services. Each day brings new opportunities to make a difference and gain valuable experience in a collaborative school setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required Ability to provide your own supervision Experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral needs is highly valued Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting with diverse student populations Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized, evidence-based behavioral intervention to assigned students Adapt strategies and implement behavior plans as directed by school staff Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of sessions and student progress Flexibly rotate between elementary, middle, and high school settings as needed Foster a positive, supportive environment tailored to each students needs
