Job Description

Centria Autism seeks Entry-Level Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism in homes, schools, centers, and community settings. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and follow behavior support strategies. You will collect accurate session data, document progress, and collaborate closely with clinical supervisors and families. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, center, and community settings Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs Collect and record accurate behavior and skill acquisition data during each session Follow behavior support strategies, including reinforcement and de-escalation techniques Support development of communication, social, play, and daily living skills Maintain client safety and uphold ethical and confidentiality standards Communicate observations and progress to clinical supervisors and care teams Attend required training, coaching, and team meetings Collaborate professionally with families, caregivers, and school staff Adhere to scheduled sessions and documentation timelines Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) basics Behavior data collection and documentation Implementation of behavior intervention plans Use of data collection software or apps De-escalation and behavior management techniques Basic child development knowledge HIPAA and client confidentiality compliance Observation and reporting of client progress Time management and session planning Professional communication with families and clinicians
