Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, utilizing behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes. This role involves implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and collecting data to track progress. The RBT will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with autism and other behavioral health challenges in a variety of settings. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with ADLs, promoting independence and skill development. Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide support in behavior management strategies to enhance client engagement and reduce challenging behaviors. Teach social skills, communication techniques, and daily living skills to clients in a supportive manner. Maintain medical documentation, including care plans and medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a holistic support system for clients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and behavioral health. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy practices is essential. Familiarity with special education principles and patient care standards is highly desirable. Strong data collection skills and ability to analyze behavioral trends effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
