1 Remote Day / Week Ability Builders Consulting Co. is partnering with a growing ABA clinic in Missouri City, Texas to identify an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This is a clinic-based role with the flexibility of one remote work day per week, ideal for a BCBA who thrives on building strong staff relationships, mentoring future clinicians, and driving quality client outcomes.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The BCBA will manage a client caseload, supervise clinical staff, and oversee treatment planning and assessments for clients receiving ABA services in Missouri City. This role also includes supervision of student analysts pursuing board certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain relationships with staff throughout the company supporting clinic-based services in Missouri City, Texas. Maintain a client caseload of 120 billable hours per month, documented via spreadsheet and submitted by the 1st of each month to . Ensure staff attend therapy sessions daily and document all absences on the tracker. Review and analyze client progress and programs, updating as needed. Schedule and attend parent meetings (in person or via telehealth, per insurance requirements) to update families on client progress. Conduct and complete assessments for initial treatment and re-authorization. Write initial and updated treatment plans and submit to the clinical director for review and submission at least 30 days prior to expiration, including a complete pre-authorization form. Conduct peer reviews as needed to obtain or appeal authorizations. Supervise student analyst interns working toward board certification, in person or via telehealth, for in-home and/or clinic settings. Perform other duties as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, in good standing. Valid Texas behavior analyst license, in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing and supervising 10 or more staff. Active CAQH account (or ability to obtain and maintain one). TRICARE certification (or ability to obtain and maintain one). Ability to pass and maintain a clear background check. Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain and maintain one). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and remain physically active throughout the workday.
