Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where your passion for helping others and your expertise in behavioral health will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols, support clients with autism spectrum disorders, and collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on detailed care plans and ABA therapy protocols Provide direct behavioral therapy to children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency in therapeutic approaches Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care delivery Skills Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing therapy protocols effectively Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and medical documentation practices Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to assist with ADLs while maintaining patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions Experience working within special education environments or school settings is highly desirable Excellent client communication skills to foster trust, motivation, and collaboration with clients and their families This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to making a positive impact through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.
