Registered Behavior Technician Monarch Preparatory, LLC Tyler, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $19 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Paid training Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Paid time off Paid sick time Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with autism HIPAA High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Summary The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The behavior technician is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate record keeping of case notes and excellent communication with the board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans. The Behavior Technician maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the co-owners.
Education and Experience:
completed high school-level education or equivalent required
A minimum of 3 months experience in the field of ABA preferred
Some college coursework in the areas of family therapy, child development, special education, psychology, or related field
RBT Certification required Essential Functions
Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions.
Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book.
Assists BCBA with implementing individualized goals and checklists.
Implements individualized treatment plan as written, supervised, and directed by the BCBA
Collects accurate data and graphs data as instructed.
Maintains dignity and confidentiality for all clients.
Maintains and protects the wellbeing of all clients
Physically and mentally capable of having children and a vulnerable population of clients in your sole care without compromising their safety
Completes and returns session notes and other paperwork on time and manages learner PHI in accordance with HIPAA.
Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to meet Texas's driving requirements
Dependable means of transportation

Work fluctuates between a clinical, office, and home environment.
Regular contact with parent / guardian (s), community members and outside agency personnel.
Hazards:
Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-injurious, or socially undesirable behavior.
May also routinely be exposed to students that exhibit physical and verbal aggression toward staff that is directly linked to their disability
May be exposed to biological hazards or bodily fluids due to the client's behavior Travel
Potential for regionwide and statewide travel for training and conferences Ability and willingness to travel between learner locations for appointments as assigned in a punctual manner.
