Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior plans. Your energetic approach will help foster meaningful progress in communication, social skills, and daily living activities. As an RBT, you will play a vital part in delivering compassionate patient care while adhering to strict confidentiality standards and medical documentation protocols. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence and skill development Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including treatment notes, care plans, and progress reports in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to support consistent implementation of therapy goals Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education strategies, and medical terminology to enhance service quality Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential Experience in data collection, behavior management, and creating or following care plans is advantageous Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance ensures confidentiality and professionalism Previous roles involving patient care or working within special education environments will be considered a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference!
