Who We Are:

Therapz is a new local micro-agency founded by a caregiver and a clinician. We are are partnering to offer in-clinic and community based ABA services. Our goal being to serve clients and families with neuro-affirming, client specific intervention that is meaningful and relevant in the individual's preferences and autonomy across settings.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate(s) will provide individualized intervention to youth with developmental disabilities, utilizing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) technologies to promote skill development and autonomy overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate is available Monday through Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of others while making a meaningful difference and being part of an agency from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized care plans to ensure the highest level of client care and support.
• Utilize behavioral management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and administer comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide neuro-affirming client support in various settings, including the home, community, and clinical environments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and track progress towards goals.
• Continually assess client engagement and priorities, adjusting expectations as appropriate with the supervision of the BCBA.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and client privacy.

Required Skills:

• Flexibility
• Ability to implement individualized treatment plans & programming.
• Proficiency with accurate data collection, program fidelity and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with medical records and the importance of factual and detailed documentation.
• Reliable and punctual for sessions and meetings with clients, stakeholders, and supervisors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with complex needs.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management strategies.
• Prior ABA Experience
• Current CBT license through the WA State Dept. of Health
• Familiarity with digital data collection software
