In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a wide range of medical electronic and electro-mechanical equipment used across healthcare facilities. Your expertise will ensure that critical medical devices operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support to healthcare professionals and enhancing patient care through precise equipment management. Duties Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine inspections on biomedical equipment in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and ISO standards. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues using advanced electronics diagnostics, schematics reading, and test equipment operation. Conduct equipment repairs involving electro-mechanical components, ensuring adherence to biomedical regulatory compliance requirements. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document service activities, track maintenance schedules, and manage inventory of hand tools and spare parts. Diagnose electrical faults through schematic interpretation and engineering troubleshooting techniques; perform repairs on biomedical electronics and electro-mechanical systems. Operate specialized test equipment for biomedical devices to verify proper function post-maintenance or repair. Collaborate with clinical staff to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring minimal downtime of critical medical equipment during field service visits. Experience Proven experience working with OEM specifications for biomedical equipment maintenance and repair within healthcare environments. Strong mechanical skills for biomedical devices including familiarity with electro-mechanical components and calibration procedures. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, interpret technical manuals, and perform electrical diagnostics effectively. Hands-on experience with advanced electronics troubleshooting for biomedical equipment; familiarity with medical electronics standards is highly desirable. Knowledge of biomedical regulatory compliance standards such as ISO 13485 or FDA regulations related to medical device servicing. Prior field service experience involving the use of hand tools, test equipment, and computer hardware for diagnostics and repairs. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
