Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Delivery Technician to join our healthcare support team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment within healthcare facilities and patient homes. Your expertise will ensure that biomedical devices operate reliably, meet regulatory standards, and provide optimal patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to improving health outcomes. Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver biomedical equipment to various locations, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation. Install, calibrate, and test medical devices in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipment. Read and interpret Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document service activities, maintenance logs, and equipment histories. Conduct diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting for biomedical devices to identify faults quickly. Ensure compliance with biomedical regulatory standards during all service activities. Use hand tools, test equipment, and calibration devices effectively to maintain equipment performance at optimal levels. Communicate clearly with healthcare staff regarding equipment status, repair timelines, and safety procedures. Adhere to safety protocols related to DME (Durable Medical Equipment) handling and biomedical engineering practices. Qualifications Proven experience in field service or biomedical equipment maintenance within healthcare settings. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with diagnostics skills for biomedical repairs. Familiarity with OEM equipment specifications, calibration procedures, and test equipment operation for biomedical devices. Knowledge of biomedical regulatory compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with DME repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and computer hardware relevant to biomedical service work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff. $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
