Full-time:
40 hours a week
Shifts:
Monday-Friday shifts as early as 8:30am and ending around 5:00pm Rotates on-call every 4 weeks
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the delivery, pickup, and service of medical equipment in the field, including on call duties; ensures patient compliance with prescribed equipment and education patient regarding safe and effective use of the equipment with documentation of patients problems and outcomes. Warehouse cleaning, receiving, and shipping of medical equipment/supply; equipment cleaning and troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repairs of durable medical equipment while utilizing hand and power tools and testing equipment; maintain delivery vehicles; and gather data for process improvements. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate (or G.E.D.) preferred. Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment. Violation-free driving record. Prefer six-month experience in a health care environment; home care preferred. Minimum of six-month of hands-on mechanical experience, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials. Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, elderly patients, and family members. Must be able to extensively utilize telephone for communication with customers, vendors, and other departments. Able to stand for prolonged period. Clear and precise vision is required to distinguish product labels and signs. Able to lift 50 lbs. reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
