Shift Available:
Wednesday - Saturday 8:30am-7pm (this is a weekend shift) 40-50 Hours a week expected You will need reliable transportation to and from work What you'll do: As a medical equipment technician, you will drive a company vehicle to patient's homes, hospitals, or nursing homes where you will set up medical equipment and instruct the patient on how to use the equipment. The equipment you will be setting up will include:
Manual Wheelchairs
Geriatric Chairs
Oxygen Concentrators, Pressurized Oxygen, and Oxygen Supplies
Nebulizer and Aerosol Therapy
Suction Machines
Group One Support Surface
Group Two Support Surface
Adjustable Beds and Accessories
Trapeze bars
Patient Lift
Ambulatory aids o Canes o Crutches o Walkers o Wheeled Walkers o Rollators
Bathroom aids o Tub transfer benches o Shower benches o 3 N 1 Commodes o
Grab Bars In Depth:
Infection control and PPE
Stock the delivery vehicle before each delivery
Participate in Improvement of Operational Performance (IOP) activities
Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection
Patient rights and HIPPA education
Complete patient home evaluations
Care planning return demonstration
Safe and effective use of equipment
Educate patients on safe and effective use of their equipment
Drives truck to deliver and pickup such items as Manual Wheelchairs, Geriatric Chairs, Nebulizer and Aerosol Therapies, Suction Machines, Group One Support Surfaces, Group Two Support Surfaces, Adjustable Beds and accessories, Trapeze bars, Ambulatory Aids, and Bathroom Aids to customer's home or place of business.
Complete equipment delivery and setup
Complete equipment pickups
Complete intake information
Complete paperwork
Collect copays and deductibles, if necessary
Maintain inside and outside of delivery vehicle
On call duties on a rotating predetermined schedule
Troubleshoot equipment per manufacturer guidelines
Interact with patients that are a range of ages from childhood to late adulthood

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
