Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Cath Lab technology to make a significant impact in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract position offers daytime weekday hours, providing both professional growth and work-life balance.
Schedule:
6:30am to 5:00pm Assigned late days during the week No weekend or holiday shifts required
Qualifications:
Current RCIS certificate or RT(R) credential required Active ACLS and BLS certifications Demonstrated experience working as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or clinical setting Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, interventional procedures, sterile technique, and infection control practices Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Ability to remain focused and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment for various cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety protocols Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitoring before, during, and after procedures Accurately document and maintain patient records related to imaging and interventions Maintain a high standard of patient care and demonstrate empathy and professionalism at all times This is a rewarding chance to contribute your specialized skills in a well-respected clinical setting that values expertise, collaboration, and quality care.
