Job Description

Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer GHR Healthcare is seeking qualified Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer to assist a premier Hospital System in Macomb, Il. This is a full-time contract with the option to extend. Pay up $67-$69 per hour!

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Vascular call 1 weekend/month 7am-5:30pm (No echo call)

Responsibilities:

Image Acquisition:

Perform noninvasive tests such as transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and vascular ultrasounds of the extremities, neck, and abdomen.

Hemodynamic Assessment:

Evaluate blood flow characteristics, valve function, and chamber sizes to assess overall cardiovascular health.

Patient Care:

Explain imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety during the test, and monitor vitals if necessary.

Equipment Maintenance:

Calibrate, sanitize, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical malfunctions to management.

Collaboration:

Review initial findings and medical histories with the interpreting physician to assist in patient treatment planning

Local Pay:

$67-69 per hour

Travel Pay:

$2,906 weekly

GROSS Requirements:

BLS through AHA Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS 2+ years of Cardiac Sonographer experience If interested, please consider applying or contact Rose Gobeli for more details at 610-684-4550. #allied2tech
