Position Summary:

Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. Performs a wide range of special procedures examinations and cardiac catheterizations; assists in the clinical operation of the department. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while demonstrating behaviors that support McLaren Port Huron's values.

Responsibilities:

Supports the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate our values, as evidenced by observation, peer and customer feedback. Performs specific special procedures, vascular and cardiovascular procedures. Implements activities to establish and maintain quality diagnostic studies Coordinates the special procedure examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and assists implementation of patient's plan of care Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence Contributes to the effective operations of the department by dependability in job performance

Qualifications:

Required:

Associates degree in Radiology Technology or Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography Program One (1) year Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or Special Procedures experience, preferred ARRT registered BLS certification required ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire
