Cardiology Job Summary:
Eastlake Cardiovascular, a leading cardiovascular practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, is seeking a Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer (Echo) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting . Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required, with Epic experience preferred . This position would be support both the St. Clair Shores and Rochester Hills offices. Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality 2D, Doppler, and color-flow echocardiograms Conduct stress echocardiograms and contrast studies as needed Ensure accurate measurements and documentation of findings in the EMR system Collaborate with cardiologists to assist in the interpretation of echocardiographic studies Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Provide compassionate patient care and clear instructions before, during, and after procedures Stay current with best practices, technologies, and advancements in cardiac sonography
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient cardiovascular setting Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required Proficiency in EMR documentation, with EPIC experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Why Join Us?
