About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care. Scope to Work Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations consisting of: Two-dimensional imaging, spectral and color flow Doppler, m-mode; trans esophageal; exercise and pharmacologic echocardiograms; saline and left ventricular opacification studies on adult patients. Instruction of medical personnel in technical performance, clinical application, and cardiac pathology as it pertains to cardiac ultrasound. May act as a mentor/preceptor for other Ultrasonographers and/or students. This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credentials are required . Qualifications Required associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Minimal as gained at student level. Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
