Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or CVOR Tech. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environments. Proficiency in assisting with cardiovascular surgeries and managing surgical instruments. Strong knowledge of sterile field protocols and OR safety standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced settings.
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready. Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries, anticipating instrument needs. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols. Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to support successful outcomes. Contribute to preoperative and postoperative care as needed, supporting the entire surgical team.
