The Echo Tech will perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring accurate imaging and analysis that support effective treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment where your technical skills and clinical knowledge make a meaningful difference in patient care. Responsibilities Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) Perform stress echocardiograms and assist physicians during procedures as needed Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety Review patient history and physicians orders prior to testing Recognize and report abnormal findings to the interpreting physician Document completed studies accurately within the electronic medical record system Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality Adhere to HIPAA, infection control and safety standards Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses and other clinical staff Qualifications Graduate of an accredited echocardiography or cardiovascular ultrasound program RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) Current BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and cardiovascular technology essential for accurate diagnostics.
