We are NOT corporate! As a General Dentistry Treatment Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face for our patients, guiding them through treatment plans and ensuring they understand every step. You will present treatment details, manage payments, and optimize schedules, all while working closely with our Scheduling Coordinator. Compensation:
$20 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and courteously as they arrive at the reception desk Ensure all patient information is kept current and updated Present treatment plans, including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic plans Comfortably present patient financial obligations and maintain collections Provide accurate information regarding insurance estimates and patient responsibilities for payments Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments for dentists and hygienists if needed Optimize the schedules of dentists and hygienists to maximize productivity of the office Multitask with phone calls in a professional manner Verify insurance details and obtain detailed breakdowns Correspond via email with specialists or other practitioners as needed for patient care Work with Dentrix, Dexis, Dental Intelligence, phone systems, and email/fax
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Must hold a US Work Authorization Previous experience working in a dental office or related field is advantageous Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology Must be comfortable discussing financial information and enforcing office policies Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential Punctual and effective time management skills Must have a warm and professional demeanor Experience with Dentrix/Dexis is preferred Familiarity with running reports for outstanding collections and claims Familiarity with CareCredit, Cherry, and similar platforms is preferred Efficient multitasking ability is necessary About Company Colonia Dental Associates LLC is a family-oriented private general dentistry practice focused on patient education and quality dental care. We treat our patients as we ourselves would like to be treated. Our team is patient care-oriented, and everyone works together to achieve the same goals. Our practice performs procedures including resin restorations, ceramic crowns, bridges, veneers, extractions, implants, bone grafts, lateral and vertical sinus augmentation procedures, periodontal procedures, PRF procedures, Invisalign, night guards, retainers, full mouth rehabilitations, and CO2 laser procedures for both dental indications as well as facial esthetics. Full-time benefits include up to three weeks of PTO per year, paid holidays, 401(k) with match, medical insurance, dental benefits, and monthly incentive bonuses based on collections.
