Current Chiropractor is going to have a medical procedure that will need keep them put 6 - 8 weeks. We are looking for an IC to cover during recovery; the position can evolve into fulltime permanent for the right person. Adjusting days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Candidate must be professional, friendly, and detail-oriented to assess, diagnose, and address the issues that are causing dysfunction and pain within our clients. We lean towards the use of Diversified, Thompson and Activator techniques to treat general Chiropractic, wellness, and personal injury patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active Florida Licensed Chiropractors Wanted! New Graduates Welcome!
Great personality with a lot of energy
Work in a positive and respectful manner with fellow employees and patients.
Comfortable supervising patient care provided by members of the healthcare team.
Being excellent with PI is a big plus.
Must be comfortable adjusting without x-ray unless clinically indicated.
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/English) but not required
Proficient with orthopedic testing
Extremity adjusting is a plus
Insurance credentialed is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate/exam patients neuromusculoskeletal systems (review medical history and pertinent imaging/records)
Building positive doctor-patient relationships while recommending course of treatment and administering patient care
Order imaging when medically necessary or as indicated by patient progress
Create and maintain great documentations and progress notes.
Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
Educate patients on the current condition, imaging reports, and expectations of treatment plan.
Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care.
Conduct health education and disease prevention programs as opportunities arise
Monitor health trends in the community to address and calm patients queries
