Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist About Us:
We are a dedicated mental health and addictions treatment agency providing community-based support throughout the state of NC. We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our team on a contracted basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ASAM scoring and demonstrated experience in determining appropriate treatment placements based on these assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough, clinical assessments for clients with substance use disorders. Utilize ASAM scoring to evaluate and determine the most appropriate level of care and treatment placement. Develop comprehensive treatment recommendations based on assessment findings. Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client care. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of addiction treatment.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Addiction Specialist (or equivalent licensure relevant to the role). LCAS-A will be considered with substantial experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the substance use population. Proficiency in ASAM scoring and understanding of treatment placement criteria. Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
PERFERRED
Credentialed with LMEs and Health Plans Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
