Substance Use Professional (SUDP/T) We are a growing and fun community behavioral health agency looking to hire a Substance Use Disorder Professional (or trainee). Must have strong assessment and teamwork skills. Evening and Day shifts available.

Responsibilities:
Direct counseling in individual, group, and assessment appointments. Case management and substance use treatment for a caseload of 30-40 patients. Represent NHCC in court and or community meetings and/or hearings. Provide monthly reports to probations, CPS, and or any other agency that requests it. Must follow all documentation requirements and clinical requirements that are outlined in the Washington Administrative Codes. Diagnosing individuals with substance use disorders, using the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, 5th Edition (DSM-5) criteria. Using the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) for risk assessment and identifying levels of care. Maintain case files and conduct counseling according to New Horizons Policies. Actively participate in clinical supervisions, clinical staff meetings, and all agency staff meetings as scheduled. Maintain continuing education hours and keep
SUDP/SUDPT
license updated. Conduct oneself as a member of an integrated professional team. Must answer voicemail and email within one day. Work with internal auditor and billing department to ensure claims are accurate and timely.
Qualifications:
Experience in substance use disorder field is recommended. Experience with ASAM levels of care and dimensions. Experience with electronic health records. COVID Vaccine. Pass a background check. Must Screen for Drug/Alcohol as negative. Must have a license from the Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional SUDP or SUDPT in the State of Washington. A.A. degree in
