Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Medical Case Manager specializing in Worker Compensation and personal injury to oversee and coordinate clinical case management for injured workers. This role involves evaluating medical needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring effective communication among healthcare providers, employers, and claimants. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to supporting injured workers throughout their recovery process. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of injured workers' medical conditions and needs. Develop and implement personalized case management plans to facilitate appropriate treatment and recovery. Coordinate with healthcare providers, employers, and insurance carriers to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Monitor progress of injured workers, adjusting care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes. Provide guidance and support to injured workers regarding treatment options, return-to-work strategies, and available resources. Maintain detailed documentation of case activities, medical evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Advocate for injured workers to ensure they receive timely and appropriate medical care. Stay informed about current clinical practices related to worker compensation cases and incorporate best practices into case management processes. Qualifications Proven experience in clinical case management within a worker compensation or related healthcare setting. Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment protocols, and healthcare regulations pertinent to worker injury cases. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with healthcare professionals, employers, and claimants. Ability to assess complex medical situations and develop appropriate care strategies. Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care. Organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously. Relevant certifications or licensure in nursing, social work, or other healthcare fields are preferred but not mandatory.
