Summary:
The Clinical Data Analyst is accountable for the analysis, testing and support of Epic and data analytics systems for the Population Health Management department. This individual will help translate business information into meaningful data and digital solutions. Incumbents in this role design and analyze reports, define solutions, optimize digital solutions and create department-level documentation. Reporting to the Director of Digital Outreach and Remote Care Coordination, this role with liaise between the Analytics and Business Intelligence, IT Clinical Systems and Application Support teams while collaborating with the Maine Health Medical Group to achieve overarching system goals. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education :
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, Information technology, or related field. Knowledge of principles, skills and techniques used in a clinical setting to accomplish departmental objectives through computer applications.
Experience:
Two years' experience with Business Intelligence software programs such as PowerBi, SAP, or Epic reporting applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in healthcare preferred. Experience in Epic preferred. Demonstration of exceptional ability to research, analyze and thoroughly understand workflows of end users and use this knowledge to configure systems which improve processes, add efficiencies and promote patient safety. Self-directed in identifying changing demands and priorities. Acts as a change agent in adjusting to new procedures and technology. Identifies strategies to increase personal efficiencies in approach to daily workload. Dedication to detail with proven organizational skills. Superior knowledge of computer systems and methods utilized for data input to translate workflow information into computer system specifications. Leadership in communicating positively with end users, other analysts, management and customers; ability to effectively facilitate group discussion. Mastery of program development tools such as editors and configuration tools. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $61,256.00 to $82,867.20 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
